The ENERGY-Lab is a research unit oriented in renewable energies created in 2006, within the Faculty of Sciences and Technologies of the University of La Réunion.

Even though it is mostly specialized in solar and wind energy, it provides an essential support for the project thanks to the knowledge of the environmental conditions at the Reunion Island and the expertise in fluid mechanics.
